About This Event
What's scarier than a haunted house? Not knowing what to do when disaster strikes. This skillshop covers general safety and emergency preparedness, with plenty of time for your questions on how to get yourself ready. Using the SimTable, an interactive fire, flood, and emergency simulator, we'll see how floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, and wildfires can play out right here in Humboldt County, and talk through where to go and how to evacuate from wherever you live, work, or study. Perfect if you're new to the area, and a great way to face your fears before they happen.
The event officially begins at 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Library 202 - West Window Area. Organized by Cal Poly Humboldt.
